Rules and Regulations
Section 3.1
The following Rules and Regulations are to be followed at all times, by all civilians, regardless of rank or position in the community. Failure to follow these Rules and Regulations will result in disciplinary action(s).
You must refrain from any sort of roleplay that could be seen as ‘distasteful’- this means any roleplay including, but not limited to: sex, sexual orientation, religion, race, ETC. If you are unsure about the situation you wish to create, contact a member of the Civilian Chain of Command.
You must always follow the Civilian Chain of Command. If you have an issue, concern, or question, always attempt to contact a Senior Civilian for assistance prior to any higher ranking member.
If you ever get into a situation where the character is being arrested wrongfully, contact the Civilian Chain of Command or even better ask if there are any lawyers available. Don’t go out of character to disregard the scene!
Never go out of character through voice communications in-game. /ooc is a command to be used if you ever need to go out of character while playing.
You must respect all members of the ASP at all times, in-game, or out of game. Of course, you may be disrespectful within proper reasoning for RP, but never in a serious manner.
When dealing with injuries in game, please be realistic. Bleeding, sprains, breaks, fractures, and lacerations all must be appropriately used when dealing with medical/injured related scenes. Under NO circumstance may someone be shot multiple times and run freely. Realism with injuries should follow along these examples:
Motor Vehicle Crash
One vehicle crashes into a barrier traveling upwards of 45MPH. Take in account the speed in which one crashed, the angle in which one crashed. After taking all sufficient cues of the scene, roleplay those injuries accordingly.
Attacked with Knife
An armed man with a pocket knife attempts and successfully stabs you three times in the stomach region. Realistically it's suggested that a person would be unable to fight back/escape. That same victim would be bleeding excessively from that stomach region.
Killing of Characters
When your character is killed in front of other people and the scene is not 22ed then you must delete that character from the CAD/MDT. It can be decided by the civ if their character dies in reason. If your character would clearly die in real life except in extreme cases then you must rp that your character dies, saying your character does not die when he has been put in a situation where he would have died in IRL will be counted as Fail Rp and disciplinary action will be taken.
Fear Roleplay
When in a situation that would inflict fear into a person you must roleplay it. There are expectations if your character has been put in those situations before and does not react in the same way. (Ex. You are being robbed by someone with a firearm and instead of complying or running you decided to pull your own firearm in a reckless manner and shoot back).
Vehicle Restrictions
Vehicles that have any sort of weaponry like spikes, guns, blades, etc are prohibited. You may still use these vehicles as long as there are options to remove the weaponry. As well, there are some banned vehicles. This includes the Nagasaki Shotaro, Apocalypse Bruiser, Apocalypse Cerberus, Apocalypse Sasquatch, as well as any unrealistic vehicle that only belongs in GTA Online. *If you don’t see it on the roads, it’s probably not a good vehicle to use.
Roleplay involving emergency service facilities
When you are engaging in roleplay on properties and facilities owned by an emergency services such as: San Andreas Fire & Rescue, Los Santos Police Department, Blaine County Sheriff's Office, or San Andreas State Police, these scenes should contain only non-violent crimes. Especially for San Andreas Fire & Rescue, these members have no way to defend themselves which makes this type of roleplay unenjoyable for members of that department.
County EMS
When no active EMS are available on server a LEO when wrapping a scene may call for “County EMS”. This can occur when your character is injured. When proceeding, the officer states that EMS arrives simply make use of the NO-CLIP feature in an orderly fashion and clear off scene.
County Tow
County Tow and County EMS play similar roles within our servers SOP. When an officer calls for county tow, first this is in order to clear a scene. The next step would be the vehicle of interest being “DV”.
Character Creation
All characters must be created with information that is relevant. Please use postal as an address to ensure accurate and realistic data.
Car Swapping
During a pursuit or a high octane scene, the tracking of an individual and one's vehicle becomes intensified. Police look to keep a tight grip on where your position is at all times. One way for civilians to get the police off their back in a quick manner is for the civilians to car swap. Generally a civilian will take an Alphia Ida’s vehicle and escape. Car swapping is allowed, but the realism must carry throughout. If a car swap takes place, police should always be notified of this car being stolen, for when that car is stolen its presumed the owner would contact the police.
Air & Water Regulations
Flights
Aircraft may not operate near Fort Zancudo Military Base, unless there is an event occuring. This is unrealistic, for this is a heavily armed military base.
An individual(s) may not operate under 500 ft above ground level in the county and under 1000 ft above ground level in the city, except when required for takeoff and landing.
No person may land an aircraft at any place other than an airport, heliport, or seaplane base except during an emergency scenario, which must be approved by a Civilian Staff member. Helicopters may land on private property with landowner's permission.
Only three (3) civilians may be airborne at one time.
Civilians that are operating an aircraft, including all ground crew, must go to the SAFA channel in Teamspeak with their correct callsign.
Planes
P### (Civilian Identifier, ie. P001)
Helicopters
H### (Civilian Identifier, ie. H001)
All callsigns must have two letters that represent a country. (Ie; P001US)
Civilians must get approval from any active CoC before conducting an aircraft scenario (ie, airshow, plane crash, emergency landing etc.)
Water
You must not FailRP when operating a sea vehicle. Example of correct RP: Keeping a slow speed near the shore and faster speed while out in the water.
Be Aware of limitations LEO have on boating/water related scenes or calls. Not always are departments clear to just have a boat on standby, if questioning whether you should partake on a scene dealing with boats please contact a Civ Ops staff member.
Direct boating licenses are not required in ASP, rather please register boats within the CAD system.
Realism is a huge topic within boating roleplay. Please be aware of limitations boats can do on sudden turns, hitting wake, and much more.
Fire Scenes & Fire Activation
Auspire Roleplay offers their very own “San Andreas Fire Department.” We offer and push to our members that we include fire scenes within our everyday roleplay. Fire Scenes must not ever become out of control to a point where it is unbearable to play the server.. When starting a fire, try to set a story behind it. Whether it is accidently dropping a match or whatever we just want to push for realism around this area of roleplay.
